Water, water everywhere!

Today’s storm left an impact on our fields! As the rain came down our pond level rose and eventually overflowed its banks. Thankfully this torrent missed our main field, but the beds still took some damage from erosion and our newly planted beds of carrots, beets and beans took a beating. Here are some pictures…

While the recent wet weather has held us back from transplanting our overflowing seedling trays in the field, it has produced some breathtaking scenes. Saturday’s evening rain shower caught us off-guard, but also revealed God’s awesome creativity in this rainbow.
