This winter has proven a strange one for sure, but as happens each year, the soil begins to thaw and the trees begin to come alive again. A week ago we tapped out the sugar bush (300-350 taps). Since then we have only collected 3 times, but are hoping for some good sugaring weather next week. The effort of collecting the sweet goodness is sweetened by neighbors joining in the fun.
