The snow has melted at last and so it appears summer is around the corner! As the ground warms up, the weeks are becoming busier seeding flats of peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, lettuce, herbs and a variety of other vegetables. Since the nights are still cold, our unheated greenhouse offers no protection for the tender seedlings, so flats fill our basement and Jeffrey’s parent’s sun room. The month of May will bring another flurry of seeding as well as the start of transplanting outdoors.
Keep posted since Abundance Acres will offer a variety of seedlings for sale in May. You will find many varieties that you wont find at other garden supply stores! Seedling sales will help cover our seed cost for the year.
