We are super excited to announce that the grant for our new greenhouse finally went through, we purchased a 30×48 greenhouse from PA and the bulk of the frame is already up! Waiting for the greenhouse really delayed the planting of our tomatoes…but despite the delay they are growing nicely under the new frame. We even have them trellised to the frame for support.
To erect the frame community members from the Chester and Andover area arrived to help out. Many of them were from the Andover Community Church. On select Tuesday evenings work bees are scheduled to help in the community. After only two hours all of the hoops were bolted together and raised into place! What an immense job accomplished! Thanks to all who helped out.
