How to Dry Herbs with a Paper Bag

  1. Use scissors to cut a bundle (about 1 1/2 inches in diameter) of herbs.
  2. Using string bundle together the base end of the bundle and tie tightly.
  3. Take a paper bag that fits the length of the herb bundle. Cut slits, about 1 inch long, along all folds.
  4. Place bundle in bag with tied base at top. Now gather the paper bag around the tied bas of the herb bundle and tie tightly. Leave a length of string to use to hang the bag. Poke out the bag (puff it up) for better air circulation inside the bag.
  5. Hang in dark, dry closet until crispy dry. Pack into clean jars.
