On May 16th the Chester-Andover youth group gathered at Abundance Acres for a few hours of work in the field. The group was participating in the ‘30 Hour Famine‘ by World Vision. The youth raised money during this effort for World Vision which uses the money to combat hunger worldwide. Rather than just ‘sit around’ during the 30 hour fast, the youth engaged the community in work projects. Volunteering for several hours at Abundance Acres was one such project. The youth helped us with several different jobs including, weeding, planting raspberries, planting asparagus, cutting scallion flowers and picking rocks from new beds. We were thankful for the extra hands and work that was done! Thank you!
