June 6th marked the first distribution of 2018! With 100% of our available shares sold and over 45% of them part of the ‘share-the-shares’ program we were thrilled to start the season in such a way. In addition to the normal spring items of lettuce and scallions, we also included a bag of blue popcorn! This was grown last year, dried all winter, shelled and popped. The popcorn has a slight nutty flavor and according to share members was a big hit. Good thing it will be grown again this year. Looking forward to many more full distributions this summer!
