Today’s storm left an impact on our fields! As the rain came down our pond level rose and eventually overflowed its banks. Thankfully this torrent missed our main field, but the beds still took some damage from erosion and our newly planted beds of carrots, beets and beans took a beating. Here are some pictures of the water. Our dog Meadow didn’t know what to think about all the water!
Our road was washed out so I’m here with a 9 week old puppy and Ron is in Chester until our road can be fixed – and no one knows when that will be.
Neither Ron nor I will most likely be able to get anything on Wed – is there still going to be anything? I don’t think you guys should worry about it as we were all impacted to one degree or another – and everyone should understand.
Now you have even more to talk about on Thursday at the Chester Rotary meeting – assuming the roads will be open by then.
Tell Meadow that our new puppy, Oliver, didn’t know what to make of all the water either – they are in the same boat.
Ciao!!!
